Overall rating
Britain Play is clearly all about branding: From its name to the familiar imagery of Big Ben and other London landmarks, you can tell they’re a patriotic platform. While this is all very charming, our main concern was whether it had put the same kind of effort towards its overall quality as it has for appearance. The good news is – it has, for the most part.
First of all, the site is licensed and regulated by the UKGC and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission. It loads fast, and greets players with plenty of promotions to keep them hooked. The welcome bonus is one of our favourites, with up to 500 free spins on Starburst for your first deposit.
As we conducted the Britain Play review, however, we started noticing some issues in the overall sound presentation. Undoubtedly, some of this is because the site is young, founded in 2022. Jumpman Gaming Limited operates it. Here is what we think about this online casino:
User Experience 7/10
Striking visual presentation and simplicity help mitigate some of the strange site design and functionality choices we’ve seen here.
Website Navigation
The site’s homepage reveals all the main options and features a punter needs clearly. You’ll find the account, trophies, promotions, and games menu available near the top of the page.
Thanks to reliable software and site optimisation, the Britain Play site has fast loading times. Even when you list hundreds of games on one page, each with a unique icon, the online gambling venue manages to load everything rapidly.
When you click on the All Games option, you’ll see an elementary but efficient filtering bar. It groups games by gameplay, favourites, and the newest categories. You won’t find the ability to search game titles by software provider, and there’s no demo mode to try games for free, which is a missed opportunity.
Website Design
Once you complete Britain Play’s registration, this site opens up. The site’s user interface is sparse, but it still somehow manages to be confusing, particularly the cashier page. The menu with the important options disappears, and you’re left with an unappealing payment form.
Mobile App
There is no Britain Play app you can download. Still, the site performs admirably on iOS and Android smartphones via mobile browsers. All the crucial features and functionalities translate well to a phone’s touchscreen, while retaining fast load times.
Software & Game Selection 10/10
Britain Play shines with its massive library of over 1,500 casino games. It includes slots, jackpots, online bingo, scratchcards, and table games.
Slot Games
You’ll find over 1,000 slot games, so the sheer quantity beats any potential drops in quality. Most of these titles are good games with fun core gameplay and pacing. We especially liked exciting titles like Blue Wizard, Legacy of the Tiger, and Wild Lava.
Card Games
There are plenty of Britain Play table games: In the cards section, you can enjoy a round of baccarat, European, classic, multi-hand, Atlantic City, or live blackjack. If you know the blackjack rules, Britain Play might just be where you make that knowledge count.
Roulette Games
The roulette section is also going strong, with a dozen variants. From the affordable 20p roulette, roulette with live dealers, all the way to auto roulette, where you just sit back and enjoy the show.
Game Providers
There are some big names among Britain Play’s software providers: Yggdrasil, Microgaming, Playtech, Big Time Gaming, Red Tiger Gaming, NetEnt, Blueprint Gaming, and Pragmatic Play are all there.
Bonuses & Free Play Options 9/10
Between the Britain Play welcome bonus, valuable giveaways, daily cash drops, and weekly promotions, no punter will leave empty-handed.
Welcome Bonus
The welcome bonus rewards your first deposit with up to 500 free spins on Starburst. The minimum deposit has to be £10 or above, with a pretty steep wagering requirement of 65 times. You’ll have to dedicate serious effort if you want to keep the cash you win through them.
Among other Britain Play promotions, you’ll find a Fiat 500 giveaway, £20,000 Mega Draw, 200 Club with a shot to win Amazon vouchers, and several other ways to cash in.
Weekly Promotions
Every Friday, you might win a share of a £2,500 bingo pot, or play one of the Fluffy games on the site between 7 and 10 p.m. to get access to the $1,250 reserved for this promotion. The best players on the respective leaderboards share the pot.
On Wednesdays between 3 and 7 p.m., users can get ten or more free spins. The maximum amount you can earn with this bonus offer is £250, once you fulfil the 65x wagering requirement. However – to keep all the money you win, your deposit history must surpass the £250 limit; otherwise, you only get as much as you’ve already deposited, and the rest is deleted.
Loyalty Rewards
With this loyalty system, you can get Britain Play’s free spins, and numerous other rewards. You complete the “missions” by wagering and playing. Once you collect enough trophies, your account levels up, and you get one free spin on Mega Reel with various prizes. Note that reaching higher levels gets more and more challenging.
Customer Support 5/10
No site is immune to bugs and glitches, and when a player needs help, customer support is available 24/7 via email. Their response can take up to two business days.
In other words, Britain Play’s customer support needs a live chat, but since the site is so new, this is probably in the works.
Banking Options 8/10
Since this is UKGC-regulated online casino, you can expect a fair and quick payment service.
Accepted Currencies
The only accepted currency here is GBP, with an option of adding up to three payment methods.
Deposits
You can use PayPal, paysafecard, Pay by Mobile, Maestro, Mastercard, and Visa debit cards when you decide to deposit. If Pay by Mobile is your Britain Play payment option of choice, you should know there’s a £2.50 payment fee. The minimum deposit is £10.
Withdrawals
Withdrawal processing periods are surprisingly short, taking three business days at most. Every withdrawal carries a £2.50 transaction fee, which we do not like.
Security 7/10
All players can enjoy the standard data-protection features. The site has licences from the UKGC and Alderney Gambling Control Commission. If they want to protect themselves from betting too much, players can set up custom deposit limits. We’ve tested this feature for our Britain Play review, and they work well, with daily, weekly, and monthly options.
Users can also set up the Self-Exclusion and Take a Break features. Taking a break means locking your access to casino games for between one day and six weeks. With self-exclusion, you prevent access to your account for a designated period. The minimum self-exclusion time is six months.
